We only use high-quality materials and employ experienced and skilled installers to ensure that our fences are built to last. We also regularly inspect our fences and make any necessary repairs or replacements to ensure that they remain in excellent condition.
It depends on what type of materials are used. Cedar requires a stain coat every few years to maintain its colour. Pressure-treated wood simply needs a power wash. Regardless of materials used, you should clean the wood fence to remove dirt, moss, and mildew to prevent future issues.

Pressure-treated wood is the sturdier and more weatherproof of the two. It's highly resistant to insect attack and rot.
Pressure treated wood in today's time is treated with a brown treating, and when it dries, it tends to look a lot like your current Cedar products. When pressure treated wood starts to discolour over time, a simple pressure washing can bring the colour back to life and little maintenance is needed.
Cedar does not warp, shrink, or split the way pressure-treated lumber can as it ages, but it can be much more maintenance to keep looking aesthetically pleasing. Over a couple of years, the colour tone of Cedar will turn more grey, meaning every couple of years it is best to treat Cedar with a stain coat to protect it from colour change from the Sun.
To go with cedar, you were also looking at around 2x on the price point.
At the end of the day, Cedar is a great product, it looks amazing and has a lovely aroma. But when it comes to making a decision between Cedar and pressure treated lumber, budget and maintenance are the key questions to ask.
